Introducing...My New Website + Blog!

For those of you who know me, you know some of my journey. You may know all of it or just a little, but you probably know I’ve worked in sales, cosmetics, skincare, nutrition, fitness, education...I’ve moved, started a family and have always dreamed of “something more” and “doing what I love while helping others…” Well, here I am, and I’m thrilled to finally share it with you.

For those of you who don’t know me, welcome and I’m glad you are here. (I’m glad you’re all here!) I’ve always wanted to work for myself. I enjoy collaborating with other motivated, creative, spiritual people who have integrity and values similar to my own. I love sharing new products, tips, ideas, and topics with people who are in the same boat. And I really appreciate a great sense of humor, people who can admit when they’re wrong, calling it what it is and a nice glass of wine at the end of a long week, day.

Balanced Mamas is about living out your highest potential in health and life, and feeling good about doing so. It’s also about creating a safe place to be yourself, succeeding and “failing” as a parent (no, you did not fail, you just did something that you will laugh at in 10-20 years and your child is better because of it), and sharing the concepts, ideas, products and services that can help us all along the way to be even better parents/women/partners than we already are.

Just for fun, I looked up some “internet” definitions on a few popular websites of what balanced means and I came across the following:

  1. To be the better half of someone else, to balance eachother out. (Awe)
  2. The ability to remain on one’s feet. (For sure!)
  3. To drink more alcohol after a hangover, to balance yourself out…(Hmm)
  4. To keep something in a position so that it doesn’t fall. (Applause)

Friends, community, support, knowledge, and wine. Moms helping moms. Parents understanding parents. And me, creating a space to share some funny stories, insightful experiences and helpful people along the way. Welcome to Balanced Mamas.
